Purpose

The children will be introduced to telecommunications and learn how to compile, graph, and telecommunicate their findings to participating classes.

Summary

Participating classes will read a selection of Eric Carle books. Each student will choose his/her favorite Eric Carle book. The class will then graph their results and determine the most popular book. The titles of each book that received votes along with the number of votes should be e-mailed to the project coordinators. Each class will also create one computer graphic or hand drawn picture depicting their class's favorite Eric Carle book along with a short explanation telling why they liked it. We will organize this information and place it on our pages.
